Bio Ethanol fireplaces use bio-fuel that is an organic alcohol produced from wheat, corn and sugar cane. 

Since it is made from plants, it does not release any new carbon dioxide (CO2) into the Air. 

When bio ethanol is burnt it releases some steam, and produces CO2, 

which is equivalent to burning 2 candles. 

Also, when ethanol is burnt its emissions are roughly similar to human breath – small amounts of water vapour and carbon dioxide, with no Harmful or Toxic Substances.

 That is why these fireplaces are eco friendly. Because there is no Smoke, odour or ash produced. 

Bio ethanol fireplaces don`t require ventilation or chimneys.

 The maintenance is Very minimal - refilling fuel and a simple wipe down 

using warm soapy water after use is required. 

Burner can be changed once yearly to maintain optimum condition.
